The Tragic Love Story of Lan and Diep

In ancient times,there is an couples in the small village,feel in love with each other and promised to marry after the boy was graduation,the boy went to town for study,and the girl waited in the countryside.
Suddenly one day,the boy drunk and sleep with a wealthy daughter else,and the girl said she was pregnant,the boy pain and the left speechless,he left right and who doesn't love wedding,when the girl heard her lover married,she went to the temple and really sick,through very sick,so she wants to see her old lover,when he met her and she was died in the arms of lover,he carrying corpses and buried her homeland in misery.

A long time ago, there lived two young lovers in a small village.  Their love for each other was very deep.  The boy's name was Diep and the girl's name was Lan.  As they grew up and became adults, Diep left the village to pursue higher study in the city.  With great love in his heart, Diep promised the girl Lan that they would get married when he's done with his studies.

While living and studying in the city, Diep was very involved in the social life there.  He often visited his father's friend who also lived in the city.  One day, there was a party at his father's friend's house in which Diep was given too much wine and he got drunk.  The rich daughter from this family had already been pregnant with another man.  She took the opportunity to set up a trap and she slept with the drunken Diep.  After this night, the girl claimed to be pregnant with Diep's child and asked for a quick marriage.  Diep didn't love this rich girl because his love had always been for Lan.  However, he felt confused, guilty and lost, so he went ahead with the marriage to the girl who said that she was pregnant with his child.
 
Soon, the news of Diep's marriage to the rich girl spread to the small village where Lan was still living.  Shocked and with a broken-heart, Lan left the village for the far-away temple where she became a Buddhist nun.  Sad, lonely, and lost, she became terribly sick and asked to see her old lover Diep for the very last time before dying.  Upon hearing Lan's request, Diep immediately went to the temple to visit his lover, Lan.  He came just in time for his lover to die in his arms.  With deep love and regret in his heart, Diep carried Lan to burial ground in their village.  

Sadly, Diep found out that his child was not of his own and that it was a trap set by his own wife.  He left his wife and child and lived a life of a humble, single, and honest man for the rest of his time on earth.    The End!
